We worked with adventure travel specialist Intrepid Travel on a campaign to promote the benefits of solo travel with a specific focus on doing so over the festive period.
In the run up to Christmas, we arranged a series of interviews with adventurer and author Alice Morrison – who is closely aligned with the brand to discuss the positives that come with travelling solo and giving her recommendations of the best places to visit whilst also talking through some consumer research commissioned by Intrepid Travel which looked at the nation’s appetite for travelling on their own.
Alice discussed her own experiences and positioned Intrepid Travel – and some of the destinations and packages that they offer, as the go-to place for those looking to do some solo travelling whilst also highlighting Christmas as the ideal time for a solo getaway.
RESULTS – Secured stand out coverage across the BBC radio network – the core target for this activity with highlights including BBC Radio London, BBC Radio Solent, and BBC Radio Sussex & Surrey as well as an excellent feature on the Times Radio breakfast programme.
