Partnering with BCW Global and household appliance brand Indesit, Wright Broadcast worked on a campaign exploring gender roles within the home and the impact that the COVID-19 pandemic had on household chores within the family.
As the UK entered its third national lockdown, Indesit released new research revealing that more than two thirds of women had been left juggling more household chores than ever before and had been left overwhelmed by the sheer volume of tasks generated by lockdown life. We arranged a series of broadcast interviews with media psychologist Emma Kenny to discuss the issue in more detail.
RESULTS: Team secured back-to-back interviews across various regional radio stations including BBC Radio Devon, BBC Radio Hereford & Worcester, BBC Radio Leeds and BBC Radio Shropshire as well as national coverage on the talkRADIO and Times Radio Breakfast programmes.
